The 2022 (13th) Lake Cup Regatta (LCR) will take place on Jinji Lake, SIP from Nov 17 to 20, according to the news briefing on Nov 10.
Initiated in 2011, the annual LCR has become a brand event in SIP, attracting a large number of professional sailors and sailing enthusiasts each year. It has been included in Chinese Yachting Association’s “List of Regattas in China”.
The 2022 LCR will comprise the J80A, J80B, DC20 and TOPPER/OP races which are expected to gather about 300 adults and youngsters from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Slovenia, Russia and other countries.
Moreover, the Jinji Lake Nighttime Race and three parallel events will be open to the public, and the races will be live-streamed on a number of video platforms.
