The smart parking spaces with rainbow-like strips, an automatic lift and a QR code have received high praise from the users.

It is learnt that SIP has installed such parking systems in 33 parking lots and the parking spots of 19 roads from last August in a move to resolve such parking problems as prolonged occupancy of a parking space on street and slow payment that could cause traffic congestion or low parking turnover.
The parking system incorporates a voice reminder based on active sensing technology to remind drivers of paying the fee, an automatic lift to prevent users from leaving without paying, and 5G-based Internet of things and Bluetooth technologies for fast data transmission.
People in SIP can use the “SIP Easy Parking” (Yuanyiting) program on WeChat to look for an available parking space in the place where they want to park their cars, and scan the QR code on the ground to use the space.
