The Extension of East Suzhou Section of National Highway 312, a road connecting the middle ring roads of Suzhou and the neighboring Kunshan, will be ready for traffic in a few days.
The project, 33.2 kilometers long, consists of the SIP section and the Kunshan section including an about 9-kilometer flyover and a 2.18-kilometer tunnel, all built with the standards for first-class two-way, six-lane roads.
The project will complete after the final work at the Caoxieshan Tunnel is finished. Then it will help greatly shorten the travel time between SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort and Kunshan. That’s good news for both commuters and tourists.
