The river chiefs in SIP’s Jinji Lake Sub-district, referring to designated personnel in charge of water environment protection, have recently enhanced efforts to patrol local waters to keep the water clear.
The river chiefs in Lingdong, Linglongwan, Donghu Chunyun and Haishang communities have enhanced regular patrols to prevent propagation of blue algae, check the water quality, maintain related facilities, and curb illegal pollutant discharge, angling and other activities that could damage the quality of the water.
During the patrols, the river chiefs made specific records of the conditions of the waters and made reports to superior authorities for recordation and review.
