Suzhou Gritscience Biotechnology Co Ltd, a leading tech company in SIP, opened a good manufacturing practice (GMP) base in SIP on Jan 9 to make products for use in gene therapies for common and rare diseases.
Founded in SIP in 2019, the company has developed a world-leading platform for development of therapies for liver-specific gene delivery, and its products for treatment of hemophilia have demonstrated good safety and effectiveness in clinical trials.
The 8,546-square-meter GMP base has integrated experiment platforms and production facilities for developing and manufacturing nine pipelines of products for patients with common and rare diseases.
