The People’s Government of Changshu, a county-level city under Suzhou’s jurisdiction, the authorities of Changshu National New and Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (CNZ), and China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co Ltd (CSSD), a Sino-Singaporean joint venture in SIP, jointly launched the building of the CSSD Kuncheng Lake Park in CNZ on Jan 29.
The project, with a planned area of 46.4 square kilometers, is positioned as a low-carbon industrial park in the northern part of Suzhou with digital technology and new energy as the leading industries and integrated development of modern services.
It is learnt that 124 projects including industrial projects, commercial complexes and infrastructure facilities, with a total investment of RMB 50 billion, have been introduced, and 81 of them will be launched soon.
A signing ceremony for 52 projects with investments totaling RMB 18 billion was held concurrently. The annual output value of these projects, which will focus on such products as auto parts, hydrogen energy sources, healthcare products and semiconductors, is expected to reach about RMB 50 billion after they come into operation.
