Suzhou Delphi Laser Co Ltd, a laser processing solution supplier in SIP, recently received a thank-you letter from the Purple Mountain Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for its contribution to the development of the Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory (ASO-S), a comprehensive solar probe which, dubbed “Kuafu-1”, was launched atop a Long March-2D carrier rocket from northwest China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Oct 9.
Suzhou Delphi Laser, founded in 2005, is devoted to developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced laser systems for high-precision processing in a wide range of sectors such as semiconductor, display, consumer electronics and scientific research.
In the letter, the company was thanked for providing a large amount of transmission gratings for the development of the hard X-ray imaging solution for the probe.
