SIP (Tokyo) International Business Cooperation Center in Tokyo, Japan hosted the “Suzhou-Japan Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Conference” on Nov 21, when over 30 representatives from Japanese enterprises, industrial associations and other organizations had a dialogue on cooperation with Suzhou.
It is learnt that SIP has set up international business cooperation centers in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo to enhance overseas investment promotion and business services. The center in Tokyo came into operation in July, and is now keeping contact with 70-plus Japanese enterprises and organizations.
At the event, the representatives from Suzhou Bureau of Commerce and SIP Investment Promotion Bureau gave the Japanese guests specific introductions to the industrial layouts, policies on foreign investment, and business services of Suzhou and SIP, and introduced SIP (Tokyo) International Business Cooperation Center’s services. Many of the Japanese guests showed interest in cooperation.
According to SIP (Tokyo) International Business Cooperation Center, a delegation consisting of its staff members and those from Suzhou Bureau of Commerce recently visited Panasonic, Japan-China Economic Association, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp and Hitachi to discuss cooperation.
