A training camp organized by the Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation at SIP’s Weiting Sub-district kicked off online on May 21 when an education expert shared with a number of parents from around the sub-district ways of helping children build a sense of safety and security.
In the event, the expert gave the participants a detailed account of the influence of the sense of safety and security on a child’s development, signs of insecurities in children, and approaches of helping them feel safe and secure. The participants then asked questions, and shared their feelings and experience.
It is learnt that the training camp will go on for a period to offer other lessons for the participating parents to learn scientific methods for child rearing and education.
