        SIP delegation attends second session of 17th Suzhou People’s Congress

        The SIP delegation, led by Shen Mi, secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, attended the Second Session of the 17th Suzhou People’s Congress that opened at Suzhou Taihu International Conference Center on Jan 7.

        The SIP delegation consisted of 39 members from SIP authorities and enterprises, who offered constructive suggestions for Suzhou’s future development at the event.

        Wang Lanfeng, secretary of the CPC Committee of Bank of Suzhou Co Ltd and chairwoman of the company, provided suggestions for cooperation between banks and medical institutions in services concerning people’s livelihood and those on financial innovation for better support to industries.

        Dr. Zhang Peizhuo, chairman of GenePharma, a biotech company in SIP, provided suggestions for assistance that government can offer for enterprises’ business operations.

        Other members of the delegation shared their opinions on meals for students in schools, smart traffic, preferential policies for businesses and citizens, in-home elderly care, utilization of industrial land and other issues.
