Shen Mi, secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, met with Hirokazu Okada, president and CEO of Japanese company TOWA Corporation, and several other executives of the company on Dec 20 via video.
TOWA Corporation, a manufacturer of precision molds for semiconductor manufacturing, has been a partner of SIP since 2002. Its manufacturing base in SIP is the biggest one within its global network. The company opened its first overseas R&D center in SIP last year.
In the meeting, Shen gave Hirokazu Okada and his fellows a specific introduction to SIP’s integrated circuit industry and efforts to promote cooperation with Japanese partners. He also expressed thanks for TOWA Corporation’s continuous investment in SIP, and hoped that it could continue to expand its development in SIP.
Hirokazu Okada expressed thanks for SIP’s long-term support for TOWA, and said that the company will expand its input in Suzhou and other places of China for technology development, equipment upgrading and talent cultivation .
