A delegation consisting of six officials from Singapore’s embassy in China, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of National Development, Agency for Science, Technology and Research and International Enterprise Singapore visited SIP lately in a tour around Suzhou for the purpose of promoting exchanges and cooperation between Singapore and the city.
The delegation visited China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou Area and several industrial clusters in SIP, where they discussed with the local representatives a series of issues concerning international economic and trade cooperation.
The delegation also met with several officials from SIP authorities to discuss cooperation in digital economy and green development, and made a survey tour to learn about local urban development and seek cooperation in urban planning, building and management.
The Singaporean officials said they had been deeply impressed by SIP’s prosperity and hoped to help tap the maximum potential for experience exchange and cooperation in diverse fields between Singapore and the industrial park.
