Mao Wei, secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Suzhou New District (SND), and Song Changbao, director of the Administrative Committee of SND, and their contingent visited SIP on Oct 10 for a survey on local development.
In the company of Shen Mi, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, and Lin Xiaoming, director of SIP Administrative Committee, the officials visited Suzhou IFS, a 450-meter-high skyscraper, SIP Enterprise Headquarters Base and the nanotech, semiconductor technology and biotech exhibition halls, and learnt details about SIP’s planning, industrial development and science and technology innovation in the process.
Shen gave the guests a specific introduction to SIP’s conditions, and hoped that SIP and SND could establish a regular exchange mechanism to learn experience from each other and cooperate in integrated development.
Mao said he hoped the two parties could strengthen exchanges and cooperation in such aspects as industrial development, research, talent introduction and cultivation and logistics to jointly promote high-quality, integrated development of Suzhou.
