A number of Chinese experts in international trade and free trade zone (FTZ) operation on Aug 17 made evaluation of 20 cases concerning institutional innovation at China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou Area, a FTZ established in SIP last September. The evaluation was designed to draw the best practices from the FTZ’s reform and innovation measures over the past one year for wider-range application in and outside the FTZ.
The evaluation covered 20 cases selected by Deloitte China in terms of six indicators including innovativeness, effectiveness, institutional normalization, general applicability, risk controllability and uniqueness.
The experts finally selected 10 best cases after inquiries, deliberations and voting. The cases will be released later as reform and innovation outcomes to mark the FTZ’s first anniversary.
