SIP hosted a meeting on July 28 when several of the local authorities shared experience in building harmonious labor relations with the participants from a number of cities and districts under Suzhou’s jurisdiction.
SIP was declared one of the country’s “Comprehensive Pilot Areas for Building Harmonious Labor Relations” in 2015, and designated one of eight “Pilot Areas for Deepening Comprehensive Reform in Building Harmonious Labor Relations” by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China last year. Shouldering the tasks, SIP has carried out a series of innovations and reforms to ensure good employer-employee relations across the area, and has so far made remarkable achievements.
At the event, representatives from SIP’s Suhua Scientific Park, Jinji Lake CBD and labor security supervision authority shared with the participants a list of good practices in fulfilling employers and employees’ needs, solving labor disputes, labor relation evaluation and other related aspects.
