Nanopolis Suzhou, a state-owned nanotech cluster in SIP, has provided strong support to the enterprises in it over the past one year, which has motivated the enterprises to continuously make innovations and pursue better development.
Nanopolis Suzhou launched a one-on-one service at the beginning of 2022 to help more than 420 enterprises overcome challenges caused by a new wave of coronavirus infections. Staff members from Nanopolis Suzhou Co Ltd, the operator of Nanopolis Suzhou, visited the enterprises frequently to learn about their needs and help solve problems.
For example, many small businesses in the cluster enjoyed office rent reduction and exemption, which amounted to RMB 22 million.
Nanopolis Suzhou also offered the enterprises support in talent recruitment and retention, including assisting enterprises’ talents to participate in the talent programs of authorities at different levels and organizing various job fairs to lend enterprises a hand in seeking new hires.
Additionally, Nanopolis Suzhou hosted various events such as information sessions and theme lectures to help enterprises better understand policies related to their operations, such as those on accreditation of high-tech enterprises and public listing.
With the potent support, three enterprises in Nanopolis Suzhou went public and 55 were recognized as national high-tech enterprises last year. Besides, a number of enterprises became “unicorn”, “gazelle” and “little giant” enterprises, and many won awards of various kinds.
