SIP Customs has increased the use of digital and smart technologies in its services since last year, and an online service platform it launched three months ago has dealt with more than 600 cases for over 360 processing trade enterprises.
The platform automatically matches applicants’ cases with applicable policies to help prevent incompliance, and provides standard electronic form templates to help avoid errors in the application process. It has allowed the users to save costs by millions of yuan in total.
In addition to the platform, SIP Customs has employed other smart systems such as the “Smart Trade Calculator” and “Smart Trade Diagnostician” to improve its services for importers and exporters.
